In this article you will learn what types of curtains there are and how to choose them correctly.
Before choosing curtains for your attic, consider the following:
- if the openings face a brightly lit side, then select double-layer curtains for the attic windows. A lining made of reflective material will prevent heating and loss of color saturation due to fading;
- the material must have good dirt-repellent properties. They will help prevent dust particles from accumulating on the canvases;
- if the attic is small, then choose straight curtains without decoration. Even if the area of the room and the window is large, the lambrequins should be without massive elements;
- if the windows are located on a slope, then hang thick curtains that will block sunlight.

Types of curtains for attics
Of the variety of curtains, several varieties are suitable for rooms with a sloping roof.
Blinds
The blinds have good light transmittance. They can also trap sunlight when closed. The slats can be located parallel to the floor or perpendicular. Curtains are made in different colors, so they can easily be matched to the color scheme of the room.
Pleated
One of the types of blinds is pleated curtains. These are fabric curtains gathered into a small fold. For inclined windows, it is better to choose them with a light reflection effect. Pleated curtains can be sewn in any shape. For example, these could be curtains of a triangular, trapezoidal or other shape.
Roman
These are curtains without lush ruffles and lambrequins, which will look appropriate in restrained interiors. The material can be light-proof or air-tight. It is also possible to choose curtains of the same tone or with patterns and prints.
Rolled
Roller blinds for attic windows are also called fabric roller blinds. This is a piece of material that is attached to a roller that unwinds and curls the curtain. This is a practical way to decorate a roof window and securely fix the fabric so that it does not deform under its own weight.
Curtains tulle voile and so on
They will add elegance and nobility to the space. Taking into account the style of the room, the canvas can be supplemented with grips and central cornices that support the curtain close to the window glass.
Curtains
Curtains made of velvet, chenille or jacquard will add charm and sophistication to a room with sloping ceilings. The space will become filled and comfortable. Classic curtains can be used as an independent type of decor or you can add curtains of a different type to them. To prevent the structure from hanging into the room, the curtains are secured with clamps and curtain rods.
Blackout
Blackout are curtains with maximum light absorption. The fabric blocks up to 85% of all sunlight, so you can relax in such an attic even during the day.
Curtains for sloping roof windows
Currently, the market is full of all kinds of window solutions. You can find almost every color, pattern and length. This allows you to choose the right curtains. A sloped ceiling adds character to a room, but can make decorating difficult. If the window is located between two slanted walls, you may be faced with how to block the opening from excessive sunlight. Below are some ideas on how to deal with these problems.
Tip #1
First you have to understand what the purpose of the window curtains will be. Do you need privacy and easy blocking or a purely decorative element? How do sloped ceilings approach the task? Is this something you want to highlight or hide?
Tip #2
If the curtain is decorative and the window is between two slopes, you can highlight the slopes by placing a gorgeous fabric. It can be assembled using tying tape to avoid blocking the opening.
Tip #3
If you need to cover a window for privacy and easy blocking, then a simple Roman curtain hanging inside is sufficient. It will be enough so as not to interfere with the sloping walls. However, flowing fabric curtains are also suitable, adding a romantic touch to the room.
Location and shape of windows
Attic windows come in the shape of a triangle, an irregular rectangle, or a circle. These are always non-standard openings that can be decorated. To achieve this, there are different design techniques that allow you to add light and volume to a limited space.
With sloping ceiling
The opening, which is located on the attic wall, can be draped with curtains on a cornice fixed along the sloping ceiling. To change the light level, use grips made from textile strips, woven using the macrame technique or satin ribbons. This design will focus attention on the window opening.
Bevel inclined
When a beveled window is cut into the roof and not the wall, you can hang blinds, Roman curtains or straight textiles. Long loft curtains made of fabric will add romance and comfort to the space. They can be held in place by a central cornice.
Triangular
For a triangular window, you can choose curtains that are attached to the window with hooks or custom-made pleated curtains that can be of different shades. This will allow you to drape the attic opening, taking into account the chosen style of the room.
Trapezoidal
Curtains that are collected in rolls or folded into a small pleated assembly can be sewn to any size. All that remains is to choose the right color. The shade can complement the overall color scheme or be a contrasting accent.
For large windows
Large windows of the correct shape can be draped with airy tulle or tulle. Hang your curtains from a tubular or plastic ceiling curtain rod. Panoramic glazing allows daylight to pass through well, and translucent fabrics will add volume to the space.
Arched
The method most often used to drape a semicircular or oval arched window is to hang curtains. They will connect in the center at the highest point. To adjust the light level, secure the canvas with grips.
Round
If you use straight curtains, then choose airy veils or tulle that will not hide the unusual shape of the attic window. To darken the attic, it is better to hang pleated curtains, which can be made to fit the shape of the opening.
Ceiling
Windows located in the attic ceiling can be draped using simple curtains with a lifting mechanism. For example, these could be Roman blinds or fabric roller shutters.
Material for attic curtains
The basis for window curtains can be not only textiles, but also other types of materials.
Paper
It is advisable to install paper curtains on skylights that cannot be opened. You also need to avoid moisture, which can ruin the curtain. Pleated curtains are made from paper. They can be hung if the room is decorated in a restrained style that does not allow for magnificent forms and an abundance of details.
Bamboo
Blinds can be made not only from plastic or paper, but also from natural bamboo. Wood trim will pair well with flooring or furniture. Wood in the interior will add coziness and comfort to the space.
Plastic
Plastic blinds do not require special care. They do not fade and are easy to clean. Plastic structures come in many colors. This will successfully complement the interior.
Metal
Metal blinds will last a long time and do not require additional maintenance. When choosing such curtains, consider the amount of light that falls on the windows, because the products heat up quickly. If the windows face north, then such curtains can be installed.
Fabrics tulle organza linen cotton
Textile curtains can complement any interior. When choosing a material, take into account the palette of the attic and the style direction in which the room is decorated. The more light enters through the windows, the denser the fabric you need to choose. Dimly lit windows can be draped with tulle, organza, and tulle.
Advantages of blinds for roof windows
Blinds for beveled windows of standard sizes are no different from standard ones in terms of installation complexity or final functionality. The same technologies are used - you won’t even notice any difference, except for the appearance, of course. The only disadvantage of blinds is the lack of ability to decorate them - models are produced in several colors, but special orders for your own decor are almost impossible. There are many more advantages:
- Ease of use. Blinds were originally invented as an alternative to curtains due to the difficulty of caring for them. Curtains must be removed for washing and hung back, otherwise the room with them will inevitably turn into a dust collector.
- Regulation of incoming light. Most blinds are designed so that the owner can almost completely block out the light from the street at any time thanks to the dense shutters.
- Part of a special interior. Blinds look very good in minimalist and futuristic interiors, where any curtains would look out of place. If you want to decorate your attic in one of these styles, then blinds are your choice.
Blinds for windows with a sloping top are very popular, because the transmission of light on uneven surfaces is much higher due to the large angles of inclination. If you do not take care of regulating the lighting in advance, then meeting sunrises and sunsets in such a room will be, to put it mildly, inconvenient.
Ideas in different styles
The curtains you choose for your skylights should match the style you choose.
Classic
If you have chosen a classic direction in the interior, then hang curtains made of thick material and airy tulle. This combination will add elegance and comfort to the space. To secure the curtains, use tassel tiebacks or cross curtain rods.
Loft
A room decorated in an industrial style should be well lit. For window drapery, you can choose straight fabrics without patterns, made in one color. The curtain fabric should be without printed patterns or voluminous textures. Silver curtains are acceptable.
You can also hang curtains with a lifting mechanism. For example, these could be Roman curtains. Industrial style allows for the absence of curtains. This is possible if the attic is poorly lit or the windows do not face south.
Provence
The French style is characterized by light natural fabrics. French-style curtains should be light beige or snow-white, made of fine linen or cotton with images of flowers. The size of the print will depend on the size of the room. The larger the space, the more voluminous the drawings can be. If the window hatches are located on the ceiling, then do not focus on them. It is better to drape it with textiles, the shade of which will match the tone of the ceiling.
Country
In the attic, which is decorated in the style of an American village, natural materials predominate. For curtains, choose linen, cotton, chintz. Curtains can be plain or patterned, but the textile theme should be duplicated on other fabric accessories. For example, this could be pillows or upholstery.
Minimalism
Minimalism is characterized by straight lines and the absence of pretentious accents, prints, or patterns. For window openings, curtains with a lifting mechanism or horizontal slats are suitable, which will muffle the flow of sunlight. The palette of curtains should not stand out from the general background. It is possible to use all light shades.
If the room is not well lit, then it is permissible to leave the windows without drapery.
Scandinavian
The Nordic style in the interior is characterized by the use of natural materials. Hang straight curtains in grey, blue, beige or green with a cool undertone. The ascetic Scandinavian style can be complemented with metal blinds.
Chalet
The Austro-Swiss style is becoming increasingly popular among the city's residents. Simple natural materials are used in the design. Curtains can either hang straight or be gathered with claws. For draping window openings located in the attic, choose cotton, linen or chintz.
Design of dormer windows with sloping ceilings, features, design options
Until relatively recently, a room under a roof was considered suitable exclusively for technical needs. But over time, it became clear that the attic is a unique place, especially for creative individuals, because a unique atmosphere reigns there. This means that this room also needs creative decoration.
If you show some creativity and imagination, then such decoration will become real and exciting.
Curtains for attic rooms must meet the following requirements.
- If the attic “looks” towards the south, then you should give preference to curtains lined with reflective properties.
- It is better to choose a material that does not accumulate dust and dirt between the fibers.
- If the attic room is of modest size, then the curtain should be extremely laconic.
- If the window in the attic room has a slope, then the canvas should be dense, because in this case the flow of sunlight is more intense.
For windows facing south, use curtains with a special reflective lining.
Small rooms are not friendly with elaborate design elements; there is simply no room for them. Therefore, the optimal stylistic solution would be hi-tech or minimalism. Country style and Scandinavian interior design will also take root.
It is important to choose a fabric that does not accumulate dirt and dust particles.
To be fair, it is worth noting that there are no strict rules for designing an attic, so your comfort is a priority.
Color spectrum
In order for the curtains to become part of the interior and complement it, you need to choose the right color scheme.
Beige
A traditional color that will add nobility, softness and comfort to the space. A versatile tone that can be used in a variety of styles.
Burgundy
A deep burgundy color will accentuate the window openings. Draping dark curtains will block light from entering the attic.
Pink
Pink curtains will add romance and tenderness to a room with a sloping ceiling. At the same time, a rich shade can be an accent that will draw attention to the windows.
Blue
The aesthetic deep blue color has a calming effect and refreshes the space. If the room is not well lit, then hang blue curtains with white splashes. Curtains can be used to drape a window facing the sunny side.
Blue
A light and refreshing blue tint will add light and volume to the attic. A cool shade of curtains can be used in a brightly lit room.
Grey
The gray color in the room has a calming effect. The neutral tone can be used as a base for other colors. It goes well with both cold and warm tones. Gray curtains do not attract attention, but can highlight other accents in the attic.
Curtain designs and drawings
For the attic, as for any room, you can choose either plain curtains or with various ornaments and patterns. When choosing straight lines or romantic flowers, you need to consider the style and purpose of the attic room.
Geometry stripes abstraction
Clear geometry is used in classic interiors, where vertical stripes visually raise the ceiling, and horizontal stripes expand the space. Abstraction is typical for boho, hi-tech and art deco styles.
Ornaments and patterns
Ornaments and patterns can be found in many styles. It could be Art Nouveau, Arabic style, Art Nouveau, Romanticism, Gzhel or Biedermeier. In any case, patterns add coziness and warmth to the room. The curtain becomes an accent in the room. The smaller the room, the smaller ornaments you can use. Conversely, in spacious attics, curtains can have large patterns.
Flowers
Country, vintage, Provence and Mediterranean style allow the use of floral patterns on curtains. Windows draped with floral curtains will add lightness and romance to the space.
With photo printing
Curtains with photo printing are becoming increasingly popular. You can choose canvases with images of landscapes or plants. And to decorate a window in a children's room - with fairy-tale characters or cartoon characters.
Photos in the interior of the rooms
Curtains become the connecting link that unites the furniture upholstery, flooring and accessories in the room. We have selected photo decor ideas to give you a clear idea of curtains for the attic.
Bedroom
If an attic is chosen for the bedroom, then you can choose any curtains. These can be laconic curtains with a lifting mechanism or straight panels of long curtains. Long curtains for the bedroom can be made from weightless tulle or thick fabrics. Long curtains can be held in place by grippers or a transverse curtain rod.
Children's room
Avoid using bright, contrasting colors or patterns. Curtains made of cotton or linen in muted light shades will add coziness and tenderness to the space. Suitable for children of both sexes. Such an interior will not have to be updated frequently as the child grows up.
How else can you use them?
It is important to understand that by attaching a curtain to the ceiling, we thereby increase the options for its possible use. For example, if we are faced with the task of dividing the space in a studio apartment and separating the kitchen from the living room, then the use of ceiling curtains in the living room is justified more than ever.
At the same time, when choosing a fabric option, we can use either something dense or incomprehensibly light, literally floating in the air. Such light tulle will only formally separate one space from another, but the goal of general zoning will be achieved.
Curtain mounting options
Curtain fasteners not only perform the function of fixing the product, but also complement the curtains.
On the eyelets
Eyelets are rings of plastic or metal that fit into holes at the top of the curtain. A cornice is passed through them. The rings can be invisible, almost the same size as the cornice, or large.
The color of the eyelets can be from standard metallic to golden and blue tones. With this method of fastening the curtains, identical folds are formed. The material can be light or medium density. Metal rings protect the fabric from damage.
In the attic, this method of attaching curtains is suitable for straight or inclined windows.
Velcro
This is a fastener that can be fixed to any surface. Depending on the type of curtains, it can be a PVC frame, a wooden glazing bead or a wall. Velcro tape consists of two strips: a hard one, which is fixed with screws or glue, and a soft one, which is sewn to the curtain. This allows you to hang curtains at any angle, repeating the slope of a non-standard window. Velcro lasts a long time and can be washed along with the curtains.
On hooks
Attaching curtains to ceiling hooks can be used in rooms with a sloping roof. This way the curtain will be evenly distributed. You can adjust the degree of illumination using grab bars.
Additional accessories
To beautifully hang curtains or tulle, you will need additional accessories. Draperies need cornices: simple or figured, depending on the type of room. For windows located on a slope, additional fastenings are needed: they will avoid sagging. You can use clamps when framing the window: then the fabric will hang in beautiful folds. For thick fabric it is better to use eyelets.
Roller blinds and other more modern types of curtains can be equipped with an electric drive. Then they will rise and fall using the remote control. Adjustment will become simpler and more convenient. This is especially important if the room has high ceilings or windows.

Decor ideas
The decor of curtains is not only aesthetics and a bright accent that fits into the interior, but also useful functional details.
Lambrequins
Lambrequins are traditionally used in such interior styles as baroque, neoclassical, and classic. The lush design of the curtains will add pomp and nobility to the space. When choosing this type of decor, consider the size of the windows. They should be large and the ceilings high.
Tiebacks
In the attic, almost any long curtains can be secured using tiebacks. This is convenient if the curtains are fixed motionlessly with Velcro tape or ceiling hooks. The grips can be made using the macrame technique, sewn from curtain fabric, or be laconic with a minimalist design.
Holders
Curtain holders are attached to the wall. They can be made of metal, plastic or wood. The shape depends on the chosen style. These can be curl-shaped fasteners or hooks without additional elements. They allow you to regulate the level of light in the room and give the curtains the desired shape.
Types of windows in the attic
Today, windows in the attic or attic are commonly used not only to provide better lighting and convenience, but also to create an original and effective home design. Dormer windows can be very different; in the photo you can see only a few of the existing structures:
- windows located in the attic roof are the main type of window openings in attic spaces. Such windows are located in the roof at an angle, and traditional roller blinds are most often used for their design;
- facade or cornice window - such a window opening is more classic than attic, as it is installed in the wall under the roof itself;
- window structures that transform into a balcony - a rather interesting solution in which the attic windows located in the roof, when opened, form a kind of balcony equipped with a compact platform;
- light tunnel - such a solution is beneficial in cases where it is not possible to install a regular window. The tunnel is a kind of pipe, one end of which goes directly into the attic room, and the other onto the roof. In the room, the tunnel is designed in the form of an original lampshade;
- extensions - these elements allow you to create a roof window in an original shape and unusual shape;
- additional lower elements - with a low facade wall, you can install an additional cornice window, which will become a kind of continuation of the attic window. This technique will increase the flow of light into the room.
When choosing curtains designed for roof windows, be sure to take into account all the features of their design.
Sewing options
Most often, when decorating a window opening in a room with a sloping ceiling, roller blinds for attic windows are used. Curtains with a lifting mechanism are made from different fabrics. If the window opening is part of the roof and is at an angle, then curtains are attached to the top and bottom of the window. This is necessary so that the material does not sag over time under its own weight.
Blinds, roller blinds or Roman curtains can be combined with tulle or organza. This will add coziness to the room and help regulate the amount of light.
If the window opening is located high, and it is inconvenient to open the roller blinds every time, then hang blinds. The dense material will restrain the flow of light, and you can regulate the opening and closing of the slats using the control panel, which is often included.
Blinds are made of plastic, wood or metal. They can be plain in different shades or with patterns and ornaments.
If you chose to drape the window openings with fabric, then there is another design method for you. To drape window openings with fabric curtains, they must be placed on the wall. Otherwise, it will not be possible to fix the curtains on the ceiling windows.
To give the curtain the desired shape, you can use grips or transverse curtain rods.
When choosing curtains for the attic, consider how the windows will open and their size. This will help not only create a harmonious interior, but also use all the functions of the window without compromising comfort.
Curtains for roof windows can be made with your own hands or ordered from a specialized store.
Pros and cons of such a solution
Some of us have encountered situations where a horizontally mounted curtain rod could not withstand the weight of the curtains. This can happen for several reasons, the main one being design features.
A fixed ceiling cornice with curtains can withstand the load much better, since there is no perpendicular pressure on its parts, which allows you to place much denser material on them without thinking about possible deformations of the curtain itself.
The advantages of this mount do not end there. It is important to pay attention to others as well:
Ceiling-mounted curtains take up less space in the room. In the kitchen of a panel house, where it is important to set priorities correctly, an ordinary vertical curtain will be ineffective from the point of view of overall zoning. By attaching the curtains to the ceiling, we benefit greatly in this regard.
In some rooms the windows may go all the way to the ceiling. In this case, the size and distance from the beginning of the window to the ceiling are not at all important to us.
They are simply cheaper and absolutely any target audience can afford them.
Attaching a cornice to the ceiling is easier than its vertical counterpart. There are no aggravating nuances to keep in mind.
In some models, curtain fastenings, like the cornice itself, can be hidden from the eyes of visitors, which creates the effect of lightness. In general, the “lightness effect” is an integral part of this solution. The ceiling cornice significantly unloads the interior.

It is especially worth highlighting the fact that we are not constrained by the framework of only one horizontal form. The ceiling cornice allows you to add possible bends, which will be limited only by the designer’s idea and the features of the interior.
The downside of ceiling curtains is the form factor itself. Not every interior can be correctly implemented with this cornice, and its placement must be clearly formulated and justified.
How to decorate sloping windows with curtains and curtains description
The material of curtains for sloping windows can be dense, heavy or airy. It depends on the direction of the style, the palette that prevails in the room.
If the design does not involve the use of curvy shapes, then you can hang pleated curtains. This is an original way to decorate a window opening. Can be used in styles similar to Japanese minimalism.
Bamboo blinds will add coziness and comfort to the room. They will be combined with flooring, furniture or doors. Natural blinds can be used in ecological or Japanese style. The slats are coated with a compound that makes the curtains resistant to moisture.
Plastic blinds will last a long time and are easy to care for. A large number of shades will help you match them to any color scheme.
Cotton, linen, silk or chintz curtains can be hung if fabric curtains are chosen for draping.
Slanting windows can be decorated with Roman blinds. They can be sewn from cotton or linen. A restrained color scheme will add volume to the room.
Blackout curtains are suitable for the attic if it is used as a bedroom. In this case, the material will retain up to 85% of the sun's rays and will not disturb your rest.
How to hang curtains and curtains on non-standard windows
When designing a window that is sloping or has non-standard dimensions, you will need a flexible cornice that can change shape to suit the opening. Profile curtain rods are equipped with fasteners that prevent the curtains from rolling down. In this case, you can regulate the degree of illumination by fixing the curtain with a holder or grip.
To properly design a non-standard shaped window, you need:
- choose a cornice that matches the shape of the top of the window;
- the shape of the curtains should match the shape of the opening.
This method of draping will add volume and light to the room.
A semicircular cornice can be selected for an oval-shaped window. Curtains can be held in the open position using grips.
Curtains for custom-shaped windows
In attics, windows are rarely rectangular or square. The dimensions of the frames are also not maintained here. But this is precisely what gives the rooms their individuality. Choosing curtains to match unusual frames is not easy.
Arches
A rare form of frames in attics, but very aesthetically pleasing. Arches create a sublime atmosphere. They also visually raise the ceilings. Usually a straight cornice is hung above the frames, and on it are classic curtains with a slight overlap in the middle. The curtains are grabbed from the sides to create a beautiful frame.

Cornices used on non-standard shaped windows
When choosing a method for attaching curtains, special attention should be paid to the type of curtain rod. A non-standard product is selected for the attic room.
First way
Select a standard cornice and place it along the sloping part of the ceiling. This method can be used if the wall with a window opening allows the installation of a cornice. Curtains are attached to it with rings or brackets to ensure the immobility of the curtains. The grips help keep the curtains open. Choose textiles for drapery from medium and low density fabrics.
Second way
Ceiling hooks for curtains. The convenience of fastening is that it allows you to repeat the shape of any opening or arch. The number of hooks and the distance between them is selected taking into account the style and density of the curtains. The heavier the fabric, the larger the point hooks should be and, conversely, small holders are suitable for tulle or organza. A stationary curtain can be held open with grips or fixed holders.
Dot hooks attach to the curtain through loops that can be sewn or cut through. Holes with a large diameter for eyelets can be made on curtains made of thick fabric. Loops that are sewn to fabrics can be used for both light and thicker fabrics.
The material for the loops can be selected from curtain fabric, satin, silk, braid. It is also possible to use loops with clips that do not need to be sewn and you can change the number and location.
Loops for curtains are selected taking into account the style of the room and in accordance with the colors in the interior.
Third way
Baguettes that are installed under the ceiling. This fastener is easiest to use for attic windows, even with a short distance from the top of the eaves to the ceiling. Ceiling cornices can be used when decorating an attic in a classic style.
Curtain braid with loops is sewn to the curtains on the reverse side. Hooks are attached to them. They will move along the runners of the cornice. A plastic baguette will disguise the top of the hailstone and the fasteners.
Fourth method
Window openings with complex geometry in the form of a triangle, irregular rectangle, oval, or windows with a transom can be draped with pleated curtains or blinds. Due to design features such as springs and adjusting ropes, the curtains can be fixed in the shape of a triangle and the curtains will not sag. The product can be adjusted manually or using the control panel.
An easy way to make curtains for skylights with your own hands
Do not hurry. This is completely useless when it comes to the most important element of attic decor. Approach the matter carefully and with creativity - this is the only way you will achieve the desired result. Of course, such a project requires at least minimal sewing skills - it is unlikely that a beginner will be able to handle such a volume of fabric with accurate calculations the first time.
- It all starts with the choice of materials. Use only high-quality fabrics that, as a result of the work, will look exactly like in catalogs or your ideas, if this is an original concept. Calculate the quantity and purchase 20-30% more fabric - this practically guarantees that there will be enough material under any circumstances.
- Carefully measure your window opening or openings. It’s good if the windows are the same, so you can use one pattern for all the curtains. Don’t be afraid to leave a lot of fabric for draping, as everything unnecessary can be removed in the process without loss.
- Start transferring the pattern onto the fabric. Here, too, you don’t need to spare any effort; mark all the details and little things with chalk. After carefully marking, cut out the pattern pieces, but don't forget to take into account the space for seams and the need to hem the fabric at the very last stages.
- When sewing the finished parts, do not forget to take into account the characteristics of the fabric from which your future curtains are made. Professionals, as well as factory curtain manufacturers, often use different types of closed seams to bring the appearance of the back side as close as possible to the front side. After preparations, sew the fabric.
- Finish all seams and edges, as well as the top where the part for fastenings will be located. All imperfections and minor mistakes that you may have made during the process can be easily hidden at this stage - you just need a little care.
- Take care of the fastenings. Their type is not important - you can choose any one, from loops to eyelets, the main thing is that you personally find it convenient to work with it later. You don't have to worry about top mounts in the early stages, as adding them doesn't affect the overall piece.
- Now you need to hang the almost finished product on the cornice. This is necessary so that you can clearly examine all the possible minor flaws in your work and immediately eliminate them - for example, straighten the length.
- If everything is fine, then you can leave the curtain hanging in its rightful place, and in case of minor problems such as damaged seams, remove it, fix the problem and hang it back.
