Any owner of a private home dreams of a fireplace, where you can relax on a winter evening with a hot cup of tea or your favorite book. But not everyone can afford to install a massive brick fireplace, because this is a serious load on the foundation and considerable costs, and in the best case it should be included in the project before building the house.

Minimalism
Minimalism is characterized by strict forms and lines. In houses of this style, small fireplaces are installed, which serve a decorative and heating role. Modern
This type of fireplace stove is often chosen by young people. You can buy a lot of interesting options. Such units are often used as architectural details. These fireplaces are often installed so that they blend into the wall and resemble a window with a fire. An interesting option is when a double-sided fireplace stove is installed in the interior wall. With this arrangement, you can use the structure as a piece of furniture on one side, and on the other as a stove.
Rustic
These are country style fireplaces. This design will look good in a wooden house. Natural wood ceilings, harmoniously selected wall finishes and dark floors. Moreover, using wallpaper in this case is completely impractical. They will quickly become unusable due to the stove. A Russian stove works well. Carved decorative elements will add originality and exclusivity.
Venetian

The following advantages speak in favor of fireplace stoves:

- a closed design that allows the fuel to smolder rather than burn, which provides more heat than in open systems (for example, in a classic fireplace);
- absence of carbon monoxide in the room;
- use of different types of fuel: firewood, wood chips, coal, pellets;
- ability to dismantle when replacing or moving;
- aesthetic pleasure from contemplating fire and relaxation.

These miracle devices also have disadvantages:
- uneven heat distribution (it is warmer under the ceiling than on the floor);
- the need to insulate the chimney to prevent condensation and soot from forming;
- regular chimney cleaning;
- high price;
- The fire is visible only through glass.

How to choose a fireplace stove
Before you settle on any model of stove-fireplace, and the market is now replete with them, you need to answer a number of questions. Firstly, what material should it be made of? Secondly, what additional functions will it be equipped with? For example, a water circuit (a water heat exchanger for heating water, connected to heating radiators in other rooms of the house) or a convection fan (heating cold air through special openings). If you want to cook on such a stove, then you need a model with a hob, built-in oven or barbecue grates. Thirdly, what are the engineering capabilities of the room where you plan to place the fireplace stove. And fourthly, what type of fireplace-stove will best fit into the interior design of the room where it will be located. For example, brick fireplace stoves are more suitable for classical, English or French styles, while metal and combined ones are more suitable for modernism, minimalism and Scandinavian style.

Masonry technology
Before you line the fireplace-stove with bricks, you need to draw up a diagram. It reflects all the necessary elements in the right places. Construction takes place in several stages:
- Base. We dig a pit and fill the bottom with crushed stone. The formwork is constructed using planed boards, and the pit itself is filled with cement.
- After 3-5 days the work continues. The brickwork is covered with roofing felt. Now the bottom row of bricks is laid out.
- Next, drawings play a big role. In agreement with them, the remaining bricks are laid out and the casting is installed. In order for the brick to have better contact with the mixture, it is soaked in water. The order is of great importance. Stick to it and you won’t have to redo the work. The inner sides of the furnace are smoothed during the process so that combustion products do not subsequently settle there.
- Now the chimney. It is important to remember fire safety measures here.
- The fireplace stove should dry naturally. This takes literally a few weeks.
- During the period of active drying, the oven is heated. Do this until all seams are the same color.
Aesthetic stove devices with metal cladding
For homes in which it is impossible to install full-fledged fireplaces, stove devices with metal cladding will be a real godsend. They require a foundation, do not take up extra space and are aesthetic devices that will provide additional warmth.
Compact structures are increasingly replacing overly bulky fireplaces. Moreover, miniature models are characterized by numerous advantages:
- metal structures are considered fully equipped. In addition, transferring the purchase to your private or country house will not be difficult. To do this, you do not need to hire special transport, an ordinary passenger car is enough, since the weight of the product is only a couple of tens of kilograms;
- saving money when installing the structure. Typically, mini-ovens are installed on the floor, which is previously protected by one metal sheet;
- affordable price for the entire model range. Thanks to loyal prices, anyone can now install a live fireplace in their home;
- By installing a mini-structure, you can forget about debris, dirt or combustion residues on the floor that are present when installing a traditional fireplace;
- operation immediately after installation. The main thing is to first check the floors and connections, and if everything is processed correctly, then metal products, regardless of the model, can be used on the day of installation.
