Since we chose a simpler option for making a chair without a backrest, the process of assembling it will look like this:
- First, axial bolts are installed on the legs of the furniture item. The axle must be shifted so that it is 2 cm below the wide bars of the seat. Otherwise, the structure of the chair will be unstable.
- Next, we connect the seat crossbars with bolts: first we fasten them to the inner legs, then to the outer ones. We connect the seat slats at the free ends of the tree.
- We fasten the legs with self-tapping screws to the bottom of the legs at a distance of 10 cm from the floor.
- Now we attach one of the bars to the outer crossbar, and the second to the inner one.
- To be able to adjust the height of the product, a beam measuring 2 by 2 cm can be inserted between the middle bars .
Attention: when making a folding chair model, it should be taken into account that the bars should not touch each other. Otherwise, the chair simply won’t fold.
